Custom Safety Backup Clip

For your pets that are a high flight risk, scare easily, or can be escape artists with their collars, we recommend using a safety backup clip to attach to a second collar or harness. We offer our safety backup clips in all colors of BioThane® webbing to match your leash or favorite color with customizable hardware (black or silver)! Choose the best size for you and your pet, with smaller sizes being best for a double collar combination and longer sizes being best for a collar and harness combination.

You have the option to choose from silver or black nickel-plated hardware. The hardware for this leash includes the clips on each end of the leash, D-rings and O-rings, and Chicago-style screws.

Please keep in mind that by nature black plating is more susceptible to scratching and chipping than other finishes. Over time and with consistent contact you may see the nickel-plated base layer. Please also inspect the gear before each use for wear and tear that could cause safety issues.
